ANCCE 2008 Competiton Calendar – United States P.R.E. Association

To: American Breeders and Show Exhibitors

Please be informed of the decision to eliminate all P.R.E. competitions organized or sponsored by the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse in the United States from the ANCCE conformational competition schedule. This measure affects the following specific events: Fiesta Florida, Celebration 2008, Fiesta California, as well as those that might be organized by the Foundation in the future.

Therefore, the Breeders that participate in these non sanctioned competitions will not benefit from the advantages offered by the current regulations: qualification for the final of the Spanish Conformational Championships and inclusion in the Book of Merits.

The reason for this decision was due to the serious action taken by the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse in acting against the integrity of the PRE Registration Book.

The adoption of this measure is independent of the commencement of the disciplinary actions against the Foundation, and the consequences that may arise from this.
