Cartujo VIII Debut In The Grand Prix Arena

While there were many P.R.E. pairs competing last weekend at the Gold Coast Dressage Association (GCDA) CDI in Wellington Florida, one particular pair caught everyone off guard as he entered the Grand Prix arena with great nobility and presence. The pair consisted of FEI competitor and trainer, Holger Bechtloff and Cartujo VIII.
The particular distinctions of Cartujo VIII last weekend that caught every P.R.E. enthusiast by surprise at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center were that he was entering the Grand Prix arena for the very first time, did two (2) Grand Prix tests in two days and is – 15 years old ! A feat that could hardly be matched by any other breed.
Cartujo VIII is out of Tejano III & Cartuja II and is owned by Dr. Judith and Shelly Streisand (and yes, the brother of Barbra Streisand)
USPRE wishes Cartujo VIII, Holger Bechtloff, and the Streisands continued success !
