USPRE Introduces International PRE Rider Sponsorships
Since its founding in 2007, USPRE has been innovative in providing support to riders of PRE horses for Dressage through regional and national High Point programs, scholarships, education and show sponsorship. During these years many Adult Amatuers, Youth and Professionals have appeared on our website featuring their successes with their PRE horses.
For 2012, the USPRE Dressage Committee will initiate a new program to provide special support and recognition to our members and professionals who are riding PRE horses at the International FEI Levels against the top competition in the country. Our criteria is that the rider have Professional status in the country in which they are competing, that the horse is a registered PRE and its owner or rider be a member of USPRE, and that the plans are for the horse to be entered into International Competition in the upcoming year (2012).
Our line-up for 2012 is an impressive one and, as we follow the successes of several of our riders in the national levels, we expect a number of additional horse and rider pairs to join this group soon . USPRE will report back on the progress of these riders and horses, and will provide interviews with them about their experiences, their training and goals throughout the year. Watch for the riders with USPRE on their saddle pads and let’s support our future superstars!
