The annual USPRE Open Board Meeting gave our Board members the opportunity to to review the events and programs of the last twelve (12) months, attend Feria del Caballo Espagnol and to formally introduce our Tanya Duffey to Breeders in California.
President Kimberly Boyer provided updates on the various dressage and performance programs and the USPRE sponsorship of the Global Dressage Festival while Executive Director Joan Mack reported on our membership, in particular that we have experienced a spike in new members in the months of February and March, including a record number of new breeders requesting Breeders Codes. Following, the rest of the meeting focused on the tremendous effort that went into the transition of the studbook management from ANCCE in Miami to USPRE at it’s new offices in Wellington, and the very positive responses we have received to these changes. Vice President Alexander Zilo, who has overseen the transition process and training of our LG Staff, explained the benefits to breeders and owners of the new website and updated processes now implemented by Ms. Duffey. All members were invited to visit the new office and join USPRE in the Global Pavilion in Wellington at their next visit to Florida.
