Stud Book – Identification for Late Inscription – Code 127

Please note that the cost for late inscriptions has increased effective January 1, 2015 in accordance with the LG ANCCE communication dated November 25, 2014.

The procedural steps for the ofﬁcial P.R.E Stud Book INSCRIPTION of FOALS in the United States and Canada as mandated by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture through LG-ANCCE are as follows:

Step 1. Breeder Code

The Inscription service Applicant/Foal Owner must be in the possession of a valid Breeder Codigo issued by the Spanish Stud Book as previously managed by the Spanish Ministry of Defense (Cria Caballar) and currently by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture (LG-ANCCE ). An Owner Code may not request for Stud Book services.

As of June 1, 2019, breeders will not be permitted to mail any pre-inscription documents to our office.

All USPRE authorized veterinarians will be responsible to mail all pre-inscription documents and blood cards directly to our office:

Step 2. Complete & submit the form below

The application for Inscription must be completed and submitted by the foal Owner, who, should he/she not coincide with the name of the broodmare Owner, must provide valid proof of ownership of the foal being registered, plus the original Breeding Certiﬁcate, which should have been supplied at the time of the purchase. The Breeder name appearing in the documents and on the Inscription will be the Owner of the broodmare at the time of birth.

An Inscription Packet including microchip and blood cards will be expedited within thirty (30) working days of receipt of a properly completed Inscription Application and service payment. Please refer to the following list for Authorized Veterinarians & Administrators

There may be a discount for full ANCCE members for some LG Studbook services. Please contact our office directly to speak to our staff about any discounts. For Service 103, 127 and 504 – Please use the Birth Certificate Number as shown below.

The fee for Identification for Late Inscription is $550.00 per horse.
